BOARD ADVICE
If you're the board or an individual director of an entity with a financial matter that is beyond your experience, or you have to ensure you have addressed all relevant financial considerations, or you just need to understand what is really going on, we can give you independent advice in accordance with best practice from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
TRANSACTION AND VALUATION ANALYSIS
We analyse capital and funding structures; prepare or audit financial models and test model assumptions; and undertake scenario, sensitivity and financial risk analysis. We also analyse valuations, identifying and assessing their context, methodology, assumptions and logic, as well as auditing the valuation process.
EXPERT OPINION
We know the challenge of finding independent or "dirty" experts who have the breadth of experience and the understanding of theory to identify, let alone opine credibly on, the real financial issues in litigation. We have done and can do both, having strong credentials in industry, academia and the law.
INVESTIGATION
Sometimes you have to begin at the beginning, with the who, what, when, where and why. We investigate financial matters, to inform and educate as well as to identify misconduct. Our strength is knowing what to look for, how to find it, and what it means.
WHO WE ARE
Capital Analysis was founded in 2025 by Dr William Wild, working with a broad network of associates, with the goal to be the trusted analyst of choice for complex and high-consequence financial matters. Will is PhD qualified in finance and has spent almost 35 years thinking critically about finance and financial matters as an international banker, academic, non-executive director, independent expert, consultant and lawyer (CV|Linkedin). We are based in Brisbane, but can act for clients nationally and internationally. We are always looking to connect with people who have an inquiring, questioning approach to finance.​
